Okay, one guy mentioned the price on his car, so I don't feel so dodgy about what Lady Cristobel costed.
With trade-in allowance and customer loyalty bonus, I managed to talk them down to $24,000. 4Runners with that equipment package sold for $41,000 back in 2003 and about $50,000 now.
Basically the 4Runner Limited does everything except check your e-mail, gets the best mileage in the midsize SUV class, and has top-drawer safety features built in. Seats, floor and outside mirrors are heated (we are in snow country), the moonroof doesn't just tilt up, it withdraws, 12-volt outlets all over the place, individual a/c controls and like I mentioned before, big gas tank. Fewer fill-ups. Took me about two weeks to go through a tank. Contrast that with Nephthys Navajo which required two trips to the pump PER WEEK at $63 per fill-up :omg:

So I'm already $50 ahead of the old game.
I thought maybe it was just me, but I've been seeing lots of 4Runners around town. It feels good to have a popular car...makes me feel like I made the right choice, for once...
