How many people do you think would read a book that has obstacles in it meant to be "artistic" or add to the storyline. Like a character that is able to censor words the reader is reading. Where the beggining gets so censored that it is hard to read. Which is supposed to represent a charcter trying to force you or anyone from reading it?

hmmm... I really have no clue.

but if I came upon a book like that, it wouldn't matter. I'd read it anyway.

The show has lasted longer then they said it was planed for, first I heard four seasons, then five, now at least seven.
