does anyone else here want to kil their scnanner? i sur do. i;'ve spent the past hour tryign to get the damn thing to SCAN CCORRECTLY and it won't . i get greeen pictures, balc pictre, red picures, white pictures, but i never get a good, normal one! GAAAA!
Yet I found that after playing around with it I now have a customized setting inwhich I had lowered the brightness and added contrast thus my scans are showing up much better.

I have learned that no matter the scanner, you're going to have to adjust the settings. I just saved the settings that made it look good for the scanner I have, and use those every time.
