I have never heard of that Wolvers too...sound just like a different term meaning the same like Werewolf....just like the shortcut "Were" or the term "Lycanthrope" At least that is what i think^^

It's almost like saying "pwned" instead of "owned", wouldn't you agree?

According to Dictionary.com, there is quite a difference.

A 'Wolver' apparently hunts wolves. Makes sense to me. Sorta like a "fisher' gets fish, y'know?

Also, Sonata Arctica used the word in one of it's songs (Ain't Your Fairytale) and the 'Wolvers' in the song were, if I understood it right, human hunters, not werewolves. Or ordinary wolves for that matter.

A werewolf that hunts wolves? :P Cannibalism eh?

Yeah. Kind of makes the term seem uneducated when there really is a term "Wolver" to describe something else entirely. Case closed. Good research there Aki.

Yeah. I was about to point that out. I can see Wolvers being the hunters after werewolves but I never actually heard that term short of the dictionary.

Possibly a Werewolf Hunter (which appears in movies and books) could be considered a Wolver.

Just what was the context the word was used in? :?
RedEye: The Wulf and writer who might really be a Kitsune...
