I have a hard time with gift requests, because most of the mainstream stuff that's easy to figure out I already have. The stuff I really would want tends to involve extensive quests, like a Cypraea leucodon shell (might show up on eBay for about $500) or certain dates and mint marks of certain coins (usually in the same price range). These sorts of things tend to require familiarity with niche interests. Thankfully, gift-giving got simpler when my iPod died and I asked for a new one. Naturally, the one I want is the pricy one, but at least it's easy to explain.
Strangely enough, nothing overly lycanthrope-themed this year. I guess part of it is a lack of interesting stuff. I've got both good wolf-related games (Okami and Zelda: Twilight Princess) as well as most decent werewolf movies on DVD. When they start coming out on Blu-Ray, though, I'll get to start over.
Did you ask for anything werewolfy for Christmas?

Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...

Likewise, I'm actually really looking forward to picking up some, such as the Howling series, American Werewolf in London, and Silver Bullet, but they seem to be taking forever.Scott Gardener wrote:When they start coming out on Blu-Ray, though, I'll get to start over.
I'm hoping Blu-ray will really pick up and take off over the coming year and that we'll see a number of good Werewolf films hit the format. Having finally got myself a high-definition telly, I'd love to what those films again in that kind of resolution.

I was too shy to ask for anything wolf-relate for Christmas, but I just ordered this today with Christmas money. I'd also like to get a wolf necklace of sorts.

I'm working on a werewolf novel, while liking to stay up late at night and going to college. I'm going to be sleep-deprived when this is all said and done.
Anthony Brownrigg, I hope you have the best of luck with Freeborn. RedEye, I also wish you the best of luck with Wulfen Blood. And for a bit of luck for both of you...
