Perk: You can lick your nose
Perk: If someone splashes blood on your fur coat, it's not because you killed a baby seal for it
Perk: You can be the perfect calendar figure, for the Audoban Society or the Sierra Club
Not a Perk: Having to howl every time an ambulance siren blares
Not a Perk: Putting up with bad movie stereotypes, like the guy in Howling IV who melts
into a puddle before going on a killing spree
Not a Perk: Sitting in chairs that aren't designed for tails
And, Not a Perk: Having to break the news to a friend that the creature in his nightmares is you.
Written in a small font, because I don't want to get off topic:
Yes, someone I know at one of my four different work places has recently approached me and told me that he, too, is interested in werewolves. I didn't talk with him about therianthropy, however, because as soon as he brought it up, he started talking about how he had reoccurring dreams about werewolves as monstrous, demonic minions of Satan, which were out to get him. He then went on to talk about werewolves as possibly existing in some metaphysical sense. I was not about to tell him that I was on some level his personal demon. At least, not up front. I might test the waters over time, but it's obviously going to be a long and complicated process, that could easily do damage unless done right.

Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...

Perk: Folding chairs and posture-pedic chairs are cheaper anyway.Scott Gardener wrote:Not a Perk: Sitting in chairs that aren't designed for tails
Not a perk: Your shirt and shoes might still fit, but your pants definitely will not.
Not a perk? Speak for yourself!waywolf wrote:not a perk: every b**** in town wants you.
Although... Well, I guess the reverse would not be a perk; the guys would all be interested just as much in the lady werewolves... And lets face it, when it comes to the call of the wild, guy dogs tend to be less, er... discrete about it.

Two of my cousins, one on etheir side, are interested in shapeshifting or becoming animals, I just don't think they are as interested as I am in werewolves. These stay to little pretend games. Otherwise I've met no one else who cares. When ever I hear something relating to therianthropy apon the internet I never bring it up, and I won't unless I'm quite sure thats what it is because I don't want to bring anyone into that concept and then trick themselves.Yes, someone I know at one of my four different work places has recently approached me and told me that he, too, is interested in werewolves.
