SOTA Toys announces Darkstalkers figure line

Well, these could be the 1st series to the Darkstalkers figures.

Talbain could be in series 2.

There should be one more if they follow the Street Fighter line, it has 5 figures in each series. I can't believe they would put Lord Raptor and Anacharis before Talbain.....I think we ought to email em' about their mistake.

I did just find out that Sota is going to release an AWIL bust later this year, but no pics yet.

Especially since Jon Talbain beat out Lord Raptor when they had taken votes... but as long as I get a Jon Talbain figure I can wait a bit longer I guess

Perhaps the reason he is being pushed back to series 2 ( if he is in fact ) is that they want to divide up the popular characters among the less popular ones to keep attention and increase sales.

Are there even any plans for a John Talbain figure? I thought that SOTA had ran an online poll to see which figures fans wanted to see made, and Talbain had lost out.

Oh no no no no. You're thinking of the figure that goes with Street Fighter series. These are the Darkstalkers line up. There WILL be a John Talbain figure.

What you saw in the link I posted is series 1 of the Darkstalker line up. I think Demitri is also part of series 1. Not sure when John Talbain will come out.

. It would be cool as hell if they did him on a larger scale like they did for the Sagat figure.
