I know its odd but even when some werewolf creatures or even wolves themself snarl, I still think it looks a bit cute.Fenrir wrote:Ya bloody mouth=cute that's odd
the underworld werewolf i guess has the face where it looks kinda innocent to me, but still creepy, and thats why i liked it, plus i hated almost all of the werewolf costumes from the pass that has the fur making the werewolf look like cousin it, so when I saw the underworld werewolf didnt have much, I was a bit relieved that they actually able to show some muscle and detail. but when i saw the werewolfs in van helsing, that changed everything, I loved werewolf that looks like wolves much more than before. probably cause i actually saw muslce detail on the van helsing werewolf even with all that fur.
Ofcourse I really like the Project metal beast werewolf, really cool with the metal werewolf * starts shooting at it and bullets richocehet off his chest and hits you*

No tails, but still great designs.iolarnula wrote:They've changed the Underworld werewolf a tad, made it a bit more hairy (but not much) for the sequel. Props to Chris Sawyer for these photos from ComicCon.

They'd probably look better with a person inside them, but still, I think they're nifty. ZOMG the airbrushed skin patterns
Well, great compared to the originals. I'm sure they'll pale in comparison to FREEBORN.

For example, I really like this picture:

I had a nice idea about why the Underworld werewolves didn't look like wolves: Maybe they were not people who turn into wolves, but people who turn into a feral creature that is not really based on any actual animal, and each culture associated them with the most feared predator of the area. That is why they are werewolves in Europe, weretigers in Asia and wereleopards in Africa. Or something like that.

I think the Van helsing werewolves look the best, but yes, they could have used a tail and were a little too big maybe... Also, did you notice the last werewolf (the one VH turns into) being all huge and naked and furred, yet a piece of clothing magically reappearing to mask certain anatomical details whenever it turned back to human?wolf marine wrote:i love the van helsing werewolf but one ploblem NO TAIL!!!!!!!

Well, a panther is a black colored leopard, most of the time. Leopard, or Panthera pardus, scientifically, is native to Africa and south Asia, such as India, and its territory extended to part of Europe in old times.Fenrir wrote:I don't think there are leopards in Africa are you sure you don't meen panthers.

As per the movie, there were three sons of the sole survivor of a horrible plague that left him immortal. One brother was bitten by a wolf and became the first werewolf. Another was bitten by a bat and became the first vampire, and the third remained hopelessly human. Since the Underworld vampires have practically no traits in common with bats, aside from being nocturnal, we should be glad the werewolves have even the few bestial characteristics that they do.Doruk Golcu wrote:I had a nice idea about why the Underworld werewolves didn't look like wolves: Maybe they were not people who turn into wolves, but people who turn into a feral creature that is not really based on any actual animal, and each culture associated them with the most feared predator of the area. If the people who made Van Helsing knew that the werewolf fans loves werewolves with tails, they could've added one.Doruk Golcu wrote:I think the Van helsing werewolves look the best, but yes, they could have used a tail and were a little too big maybe...
