I've had domestic and wild duck, I actually prefer the latter. No white meat, very little grease, and had so much iron in it I clanked when I got up from the table

I'd like to try peacock someday. Hear it tastes like duck without the grease. They had a peacock in the wedding feast scene of "The Silver Wolf." Seriously funny scene. The cooks were so busy with everything else they forgot to cook it. The groom poked it with his knife, it took its head from under its wing and gave him a most disgruntled look!

Then it jumped at him, he ducked, it flew over his head and headed for the garden. The other guests at the party chased it down in the garden...great scene
