Further Confusion is one of the largest international conventions celebrating anthropomorphics in all its guises. With an attendance of over 1,700 and growing, it is one of the premiere events of its kind. Further Confusion includes charitable benefits, educational seminars, art shows, panels and general social activities. It was the first event sponsored by Anthropomoprhic Arts and Education Inc. and continues to be its largest.
I'm looking into coming down for it. It's the Market low season and I need to keep a steady cash flow going during the winter. The Fur Market tables are pretty good prices and I'm pretty sure I'll be able to sell at least one of my stick horses there. It's now a question of getting my California reseller's license...
I'll probably spend another day or two hanging with friends and family.
Dinner?! Absolutely! The SJ Doubletree is my old stompin' grounds.
There's a killer Moroccan restaurant just up the street from there. It's pricey — about $60 a person — but sooooo worth it. Six courses with a half-hour to eat and digest each one before they bring the next one, washed down with mint tea. Honey lamb and couscous!
There's a reasonable to excellent chance that I may not be able to make it. I just met with my oncologist and they're putting me on six months of fairly heavy chemo. The convention may coincide with one of the sessions, side-effects notwithstanding.

Sorry Koshaw
*HUGS* There there. Sorry my friend vrikastma. It would have been nice to meet you ^_^. Btw you never know you may get to go afterall =)
I'm still trying to keep the option open. I already have my membership and I'm not too willing to throw $45 away. It depends on whether it's an off-week for my chemo. If it is, I might shine on the dealer's table, leave the stick horses and wolf-oo clock at home, and fly down. If the chemo's not really socking it to me (hasn't so far), I'll drive down.

conifur was my first convention i ever went to. i had such a blast. but the dj could have used some work. personaly i though his line up was wack. but no bother. i might do it next year. but i have to admit. i am a bit a booze hound and do like to hang out in the bar.

the thing is this though. if i do end up going, by some miracle, dose the pack like to meet?
you never know just how you look through other peoples' eyes.
Great Anthony B! Be super to see you again and pelt ya with duckies ^_^ . If you need a room, I do have one...if you want to share, the dates for FC are Jan 19-23, 2006!
I have three people total in the room so far...pm me.
No way in hell my parents will let me go off to some convention..alone...and no way I'll take them with me...so I most likely will not go...buuuut it is sooo close...I could just take the car (or walk) and go there...although...that is not such a bright idea...we'll see...
