well the lamda is the logo for the top secret government facility where gordon use to work at...its called The Black Mesa Facility. They were doing an experiment with this sample from another planet and everything goes totaly wrong.....Aliens are being warped to thier world, especialy around there area, and then a military death sqaud comes in to kill everyone and everything.
