I've seen that trailer earlier today on rottentomatoes.com. It is going to be freakin great! The three people I most admire are working on it!
Tim Burton, Danny Elfman and Johnny Depp=Paradise
I cant wait!!!!
Dang... *pants* Another movie by Mr. Burton? Awesome! I loved the Nightmare Before Christmas. I'll have to go an' beg my mum to let me go to see it when it comes out.
Spoilers ahoy!
(I didnt read the whole thing because of that fact) But what I did read....*drools uncontrolably* Its gonna be so kick a** when it comes out! The highlight of 2005!
Honestly I don't know if I want to see it. On one hand it looks like it'll be funny. On the other hand, it looks, a little icky for my taste on a few fronts. I mean the idea that a zombie woman would want to marry a living person alone is enough to kinda.... creep me out.

eh...you could always rent it, borrow it, or wait till its on HBO
As much as I loved "Nightmare Before Christmas", and despite how obviously high quality the old-school "stop-motion" animation appears to be, I just don't seem to have any interest at all in this film.
...zombies and skeletons and rotting flesh humor just don't appeal to me. Laughing at a zombies head falling off stopped being funny for me a long time ago.
I'm Far more interested in the upcomming Wallace and Gromit film, "Curse of the WereRabbit".
Please Forgive the Occasional Outburst of my Inner Sage ... for he is Oblivious to Sarcasm, and not Easily Silenced.
I am so doing that one day, except I'll probably use a carpet.
LOL!
My family used to do stuff like that all the time...with videocameras, and sometimes just a "GameBoy Camera".
I wonder if anyone still has those old videos of my cousins and I flying around our grandmothers backyard...dissapearing and reappearing in midair...and otherwise doing strange, impossible things with the use of stop motion and other cleaver editing techniques. They were hillarious to watch. Someone would be hopping up and down like a lunatic untill suddenly...*pop*...they would be gone, and only their shirt would be left behind.
...or our bizarre series of faux MR. PIBB, "put it in your head" commercials...
...My family is really weird...

Ditto. I couldn't possible tell you all the ridiculous things me and my brother did when we were kids. I used to get on his shoulders and we would put on my mom's nightgown and we'd walk around the house, pretending to be her. Good times.
Saw The Corpse Bride twice (One with HowlingFan )
Not as good as The Nightmare Before Christmas, but still freakin awsome Victor is sooo hot Love Bonejangles(aka Danny Elfman) The score and songs are wonderful(just bought the soundtrack) Beutifully animated/designed. The ending was touching; one of my favorite movies now
