STARSHIP TROOPERS
Alright this is like the most awsome thing I have seen sence half life 2 and doom 3 it can be a halo killer, well half life 2 is already that but this game, ooooh boy I bet bungie never even dreamed about creating a game with this much action. In the link to the website down below you can watch some videos there of ACTUAL gameplay, you literaly fight agients 100 bugs at once with over 50 commandos along your side. Man you better have the cutting edge video card and alot of ram for this game.

This is a must get for any action gamer or even non action types, what can be more fun than being outnumbered and outrun 100s of bugs that you gotta fight with your allies or youll be slaughterd!!

I downloaded the Demo and tried to play it, but it's really buggy, and it runs a bit slow on My computer.
Game controll and gameplay wise, it feels On-Par with other FPS's. It feels smooth and natural. The demo level does not give you much of interest to do though...at least as far as I can get before it crashes.
On the bright side, if you are crazy, stupid or unlucky enough to get really close to the bugs, they do look really cool.
Blowing up Alien Bugs is Fun. "...BOOOM!!!..."

I was running it on my G-force 4 card, so I know that won't be a problem.Shadow Wulf wrote:dont worry you can a cheaper graphics card and it should be able to run just fine.
(though, for some reason, if I try it get into the "Graphics" settings menu in the demo, the game instantly crashes, so I can't adjust them to make it run smoother for me.)

Looks kinda fun, but I don't think it'll be a "halo killer" as you put it. I mean, Halo actually has a story (as does Half Life 2) which puts a perpuse behind all the mindlessly fun killing stuff. This looks little ore than the killing andf stuff, which while fun, gets repetative fast (Which I learned from Halo's flood levels.)
I mean, with sentient alien enemies you can get nice twists to the storyline. Mindless bugs? Er...doubtful...
But it looks amusing enough...

Of course it won't be a Halo killer(I wish) Halo is made for n00bs and n00bs outnumber gamers by quite a lot.Aki wrote:Looks kinda fun, but I don't think it'll be a "halo killer" as you put it. I doubt I'll be digging my own grave, I'm no gun-toting Halo n00b, I was raised on FPS starting with my first FPS "Duck Hunt" or something like that where you have a gun and you aim it over the duck and pull the trigger. Those were the days.Shadow Wulf wrote:oh do you, huh? well I guess I better start digging your grave and hiring a priest.
