Wanted: 2006 Werewolf Calendar
I really would like to see one this year. In the past, none of the major publishers have produced one (that I've found, anyway). It's possible that an artist or two had produced some in small amounts, but I've never seen them.
This forum is filled with talent, so I suppose one could put together, if nothing else. Just don't look to me to organize it. I wouldn't know where to start.

There is certain places that'll take your art and place it on items like T-shirts, coffee mugs, mouse pads, ETC. I'm not sure about calenders. They will need 16 pieces of art for each month. (16 month calendar.)
Now, if the Pack puts one together, who will make it and who will contribute art for it? Also who will pay the company that'll print the calender for us?
Edit...I meant "who will pay the company that'll print," not make.
I think you understood the 1st time.

Really, I was asking if anyone has seen one of any variety. Be it a year of movie stills, artwork from a single artist, or artworks from multiple artists.Excelsia wrote:Are you talking about a calendar of various werewolf art, or a calendar depicting when the various werewolf movies are coming out (roughly)?

This is true. Your pictures or drawings, no problem. However, these places usually have policies about reprinting copyrighted images. That's why I have never had one done.Figarou wrote:There is certain places that'll take your art and place it on items like T-shirts, coffee mugs, mouse pads, ETC. I'm not sure about calenders. Heh, this is the closest thing I can find to an existing werewolf calendar:

Whoa! love that enthusiasim! Maybe this can come together, hopefully before Christmas. I don't have a clue how to organize it, but I'm sure y'all would agree; if we charge for this thing, procceds should go to a charity.Black Shuck wrote:I'd like to help! I'm not too good at drawing, but I'll submit one I've already done or try to make another one (really good!). I think it'd rock to see werewolves from various people, because the styles would be different

Do you mean you want to do every month (12-16 images)? I think the other artists will object.SabreWereWolfQueen_84 wrote:Would it be cool if I tried this and used my work as the picture? Does anyone object to this?

I looked at that. Looks like something that artists, photographers, etc. could use for their personal use, not something for multiple calendars.

I'll volunteer my services as an artist. Heck, maybe I'll even talk my teacher into letting me use some paints to make the picture. However, I don't have any money to contribute to actually MAKING the calender, and I agree about the profit going to charity. Contributing to the more needy using werewolves as our subject!
