my brother is making a zombie computer game. called S.T.U.D. (can't remember how it stands for)
its a game were an under ground army fughts, well zombies. its supost to be VERY hard! super relisic as in weapons jamming, and no target curser!
and a butt load of stuff. he's making an all new engine were its suposted to be better than the unreal engine! hes calling it SPUD (don't ask me why, i don't know why he does the stuff he does the half the time.)
I'm sorry, but based on your earlier claims (which, if I may note, became self-contradictory after my post) I simply can't credit this. To make the Unreal 2 engine took several years and 30+ people; the exact same is true for the Half-Life 2 engine.
How can you call it "all new" when in the other thread you claimed he was cutting-and-pasting the two together? What, exactly, is "COPY RIGHTED!!!!!!!!" supposed to mean? US law dictates that a copyright is already applied to any original work; it's not anything to boast about. Would you care to explain a few of the other inconsistencies?
Your earlier posts indicated nothing like that in the slightest. I challenge you to bring me ONE piece of good, hard, evidence that this is true. Send me an early demo. Give me the email of one of the people working on the game. Link me to a website that's not set up on a free hosting service like angelfire or geocities; if there are plans to sell this commercially, then there should be no qualms about perchasing proper hosting and a domain name, both of which are quite cheap these days. Send me some code snippets; I promise not to redistribute or steal from either them or the earlier mentioned demo. I'm sure your brother doesn't want you to get harassed for no good reason on a forum, just give him this post and ask for a good piece of evidence to use. My email, to which you can send any or all of the above, is ralith[AT]gmail[DOT]com; replace [AT] with @ and [DOT] with . as usual.
Anubis, I gave plenty of options other than a demo. Even a few simple snippets of code from the rendering pipeline or a header would be plenty. Sorry to be so agressive about this, but much of what you've said here is quite simply impossible, and the rest self-contradictory. Again, I'll happily back down and admit my mistake if you can provide a single piece of evidence that this is true. That's not much to ask.
Yeah it happened to me a few times, just let them know that your simply stating of what your brother told you and thats all. And try to keep the person argueing with you undercontrol.

Ahem. What's so hard about simply asking your brother to send me a little bit of proof? If this is true then there's no need to get worked up about it; just talk to him about it. I gave you my email, and I'm sure that if your brother's told you this much he'll have no qualms providing a little more to a skeptical observer. It's not like there's any harm in giving me some information, is it? Just talk to me give me an estimate on when he or one of his friends can get back to me, and I'll be happy. And apologetic, let's not forget that.
Ralith Lupus, I understand your point of view, and I don't think your requests are unreasonable. If you can see that something you are doing is angering someone else, though -- no matter if you are in the right; no matter if they are wrong -- kindly please refrain from pushing the issue. Once you make them angry, they stop listening to you -- an unfortunate constant in life.
(And, Anubis: if you let people antagonize you so easily over such small issues, you are only giving them power over you. Once you get angry, you've already lost the battle.)
If you two wish to continue in this vein, I'm going to have to insist you take it to e-mail or PM.
I would like to maintain a nice environment for everyone.
