So, is anyone on Facebook? It's mainly a college thing, but they're spreading to high schools as well.

If you're in the college facebook, add me!! Search for "Rebel Fornea", I'm the only one, I promise

If you're in high school or college (or if you're an alumni who still has their college email address) or if you're a college professor and haven't heard of this yet, go to www.facebook.com or www.thefacebook.com. Either one will work, they now have both addresses.

Keep in mind: you're supposed to use your real name, not 'Reynard the Fox King' or whatever. Nicknames in quotation marks are acceptable.

Anyway, facebook is really fun. It's hard to explain why...it's just really addicting and fun and I promise you'll like it. And even if you don't, you have nothing to lose, since it's free.

I give up that site hates me. I clicked your link and pushed search and nothing was found said that same thing for all my freinds that i know are on that site

Hey, I'm bumping this topic because I feel that it bears bumping. I know a lot of you are in high school, and many in college. So join!

Facebook is better than:
-myspace
-livejournal
-xanga

and many other online 'blog' type things. In reality, facebook isn't really a blog at all. As in, you don't log in and whine about your life and have people comment on it. It's just really cool, I promise! Try it out!

Comparing it to those sites really isn't saying much. Xanga is a wretched hive of scum an villany. (I say this after looking at my website stats.)

Well...it's awesome! I don't really know what to compare it to, there's not a whole lot out there that's like it.

Dosen't your school have to do something before you can join? I haven't gotten a chance to actually check the site out myself, but someone was talking about it the other day at school. I have to get off, or I would go check and not bother anyone here.

<offtopic>I would use one of those cool emoticons to express my disappointment, but the computer I'm on is barely running and none of them will come up. I've already gotten the "AOL has encountered a problem and needs to close" message, but I just stuck it at the bottom of the screen and ignored it since it won't stop doing it.</offtopic>
In another 2 years or so I can add you. I've got a myspace too, I got tired of trying to find a decent url, so I just combined the first two words that came to mind It's myspace.com/dragonflare. From what I've seen, facebook looks a lot better though. Myspace is a little more prone to the angsty rants and whining that's already been mentioned and I've seen some really bad LJs so this looks really cool.
