Post by Koshaw »

Anyone want to join a guild (pack)??

My friends started one.....

T.O.O.F-The Order of FUBAR (Fkd Up Beyond All Recognition)

=^_^=

We can show you around, help you complete quests etc and mostly play on the international server.

I just found out that it actualy runs on my PC! :o

When I started the client, an error accured, and it said that the wouldn't run. :? But when I clicked 'ok', the game played anyway. Hmm?

I used somebody's account just to try it, so I still have to buy Guild Wars. But I will one of these days! :D

I got bored of it a while back, but I might resume; I've gone through a sort of mental state change (I suppose that goes with adolescence :( ) so such things are up for reevaluation. Note that I'll be starting a new char for sure, and thus wouldn't be too useful for a guild at first.

Sorry, wasn't expecting a reply so soon, and was off getting past that alone :P
Now I'm freshly into postsearing as a almost-lvl-4 Ranger, a wolf companion, and a bit bored of it again; playing it with someone else might improve things, though.

What timezone are you in? MSN reports you as offline, and I don't have a YIM account. Do you have google talk?

Hehe. Anyone else play this? Perhaps it would be worthwhile to create a Pack guild, if only we had enough people...

Did you guys see the Halloween Stuff they had? Like the Huge cauldron in Lion's Arch and the other stuff mostly in Lion's arch (like candy-corn henchmen, hehe!).

I spent from 2 AM to 5 AM running from Piken Square with some freinds to get there (I hadn't been there previously, so we couldn't warp there. Going on foot was more fun anyways.)

Awesome stuff.

I'm not far enough :(

But, anyway, I'd like to see how many people are interested in a guild.

Right, I stopped playing Guild Wars a while ago; too boring. I'd rather be shooting something than waiting around to party with someone.

Some of the stuff:

The dock has that Ghost ship, and the Sea's green (also one can see a sunken ship sticking above the waves further out)

Image

This massive Cauldron.

Then theres other things, like traders who are cacooned in spider webs, a skull in a boiling pot usually filled with crabs...Henchmen being Candy-corn golems. :D

Cool.

Why doesn't everyone post the names of their GW chars so we can friend eachother and party when we're all online? Mine's identical to my forum name.

Mine is simply a reuse of the name I got my current name(Aki) out of.

Akiada Feisou. :shift:

Which I got out of a generator in a MMORPG I used to play and modified some (I think it was Akiado or somethin' originally.)

Ah, good. That was a rather nasty surprise...
Anyway, now I'm past that spot and up two levels (to 10), so I can get us through.
I was suggesting we all post our names for the viewing of others who we haven't ran into yet; for the sake of completeness, Koshaw's name is Matrim Fanlir.

Look at the friggin' moon!

Pumpkinheads!

The Candy-corn henchies

Spider-webbed trader

The event is over though, So I didn't get to see the Mad King and get me a Pumpkin helmet though. Bah. :P

YAY!! I've got GuildWars! :o Unfortunately, I had to put everything on 'low' to run the game smooth, but hey, look at this screenshot I made:

http://img492.imageshack.us/img492/7968/gwlow0pl.jpg

Doesn't look too bad, right?

RIGHT??!

:P

You can also see my character-name on the screenshot, its 'True Webwolf'. Yeah, its lame, but GW only allows nicknames with 2 words. :)
