Yes I most definatly agree, a werewolf like that would have to weigh about 80 to 90 pounds in human form. A person of about 150 pounds would look like this.

Hey, that's how much I weigh.

Kinda looks like a wererat more than a werewolf, it's the head I think.

The head does look ratty, except for the teeth, and the hands are too humaniod...

But that's not the point. I'd say that's a bit too musceled, but close enough for me to be happy with.

too humanoid? it is half human.... anyway I like a wide range of werewolfs. And weather you believe it or not this isnt built. its just the attentions to the muscle detial and the neck is what makes it look built.

It's more the thickness of the torso that makes it look bulit. And yeah, the head is really flat, even for a canine, which makes it look like a rat.

I really like this werewolf, but I think that saying he came from a person who weighed 150 might be stretching it a bit. I'm leaning more towards a guy who was about 215, if not substantially more. Though I definitely think there should be a substantial increase in musculature, I am still in favor of maintaining some semblance of the original body type. A tall skinny guy would gain muscles, but, he would still look tall and skinny when compared to other werewolves in gestalt form.

Ok mabey not 150 but a guy that weighs 170 would definatly look like this. This is merely a 30% or 40% increase in muscles. I have seen people with 160s pounds weight and they have enough meat on them to make them look not that much less muscular than this werewolf. A guy that weighs at 215 pounds would be more along the lines of almost becoming an uber wolf. And I have to agree that the head is a bit too flat for a canine creature.

well, i think that the change unto itself would consume a lot of calories, so at first, an overweight werewolf would look fat, but after a while of shifting, they would lose weight. they wouldn't really be muscular, but what they actually HAD would finally show through.
problem would be with rather skinny people, they'd probably lose weight too, and possibly to an unhealthy extent.
this is, of course, assuming that their appeteits hadn't increased.

What you're basically saying is...I'd could outclass Arnold Schwarzenegger if the growth was to that proportion. I'm damn near 200 pounds, so according to you I'd be just under the realm of uber-wolf.

Looking at my reflection in the mirror that just doesn't seem right.

I never quite understood the facination with muscle bulk. Things look weird to me if they're too musclebound. Like something really lumpy that isn't supposed to be.

not really. it just means that their calorie usage would be more. a 25000 calorie meal at mcdonalds would STILL make you fat, and probably pretty sick, too.

well, Reuline send me a pic of yourself and Ill decide. I should have also mentioned that height counts aswell, you can be really tall and weigh almost that much. but yeah I say 215 pund person would be more like Arnold type, and Im reffering to my vision of werewolfs....I dont want to go off in another arguement about musclular agien like me and Vuldari.

Here ya go. Two of the most recent ones I have:

As far as height goes I'm anything but tall. The only one in my family smaller than me is my grandmother. I'm 5'3" and built like a bear.

And I'm not gonna argue. I got bored with complaining about it a long time ago. I just don't get what people like about it, is all.

I dont know its hard to explain, to me it just feels soo cool, I like for a werewolf to be powerful and to physicly show it while still be beautify, or it can be hairless or less wolf like. I like a wide range of werewolf as long as they have some kind of muscle definiton.

I dont know why you like skinny or just simple werewolves, so uh please state your reason. :)

its all abou the finesse... the difference between a nija swiftly slahing someone in half and a European knight bashing someones skull in with a halberd... (not sure thats a good example...)

I don't like bodybuilders, but I don't like scrawny twig things either. The former looks like it wouldn't be able to move very well and that its legs would snap in half if it was real. Most people don't draw legs that look like it could support such a creature. They tend to be very top heavy which is horrible for balance. And like I said, they look too lumpy. It's just not appealing to me.

I much prefer something more along the lines of a gymnast or a professional dancer. Slim and toned, not scrawny but not bulky either.

meh... lemme try again.... wolves don't crash through the woods bluntly and brutishly. and they don't look like they would. and humans.... humans don't crash through the woods period.... so why should werewolves look so darn bruitish? (damnit ><' i cant get it right!!!)

well who says they a werewolf has to be one like the other, it can be an all mighty powerful bean and you can bew muscular and still be swift.

Anyway Reulune I know what you mean about people draw thier werewolfs that are upper body builders, I personaly liket them but like I said before I love a wide variety of werewolfs, im never picky. Also if you look at my drawings you see that non of them are upper body builders, instead they are all around equel in muscles.

I like my werewolves muscly, but not to the point where it starts to look weird. I haven't yet figured out where that point is yet, though.
