Lionel Richie's "Dancing on the Ceiling"
Underworld, Van Helsing, and if I saw what I thought I saw on the trailer, now Cursed is doing it, too! Werewolves are all doing that eighties song!
Oh, what a feeling!
When you're dancing on the ceiling!
I know some of you are picturing it even now....

Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...
I may be wrong, but I think the logic is that crawing on walls and ceilings is an attack strategy, that if there are werewolves all over then they're more likely to get past the defenses of their foes..in my mind, if they're that cunning, then they'd find a better way, such as using their strength to burst thru walls and attack from different rooms..

This is how werewolves CAN climb walls.
They have enough force to punch their claws and fingers THRU the sheetrock.. AND be able to grab a 2x4 studd, and use it to hoist themselves upwards. Either that or use enough momentum to get far enough up the wall to use the wall itself to lunge outward in a diffferent direction.
I'm a big believer in gravity.

I guess each werewolf has a 2X4 stud finder built into their matrix.

Now, now. Gravity? Let's be rational. There is no gravity, the world is flat, and at the end thar be dragons!ABrownrigg wrote:I'm a big believer in gravity.
Gravity...we used to burn people who spoke of such things! *shakes finger*
Obviously I'm only messing.
It's a shame an entire family can be torn up by something as simple as wild dogs.

I'm glad gravity is being taken into consideration...
Crawling on walls is a dumb idea.... You would think with all that strength they would punch through a wall like mentioned early to get the drop on the unsuspecting victums...
Underworld was made (in my opinion) by vampire fans rather than by a compination of ww and vampire fans... Cursed is more along the lines of lycanthrope being a curse rather than what it really is.... a blessing.

"Wolf spiders" refer to any spider belonging to the family Lycosidae, and the genus Lycosa, in particular.Aki wrote:ITs just a BIG a** spider. The 'wolf' only comes from it being...big....ChaosWolf wrote:Well, there IS such a creature as a wolf spider... But I'm not sure how that might apply to this debate...
*shudders at the mention of spiders*
I...hate...spiders....
The "Wolf" of "wolf spider" does not refer to its size, given as how the vast majority of wolf spider species have a leg span of barely a centimeter. It refers to their furry appearance, and that they are excellent hunters.

The curse of not being lame
Ever notice how many times blessings ARE portrayed as curses? Immortality--how sad for you. Flying, enhanced hearing, night vision, shape-shifting, ESP, precognition--all so tragic. Wouldn't it be so much better to be as mundane, helpless, and "normal" as everybody else? It's a major cliche. I loved the movie Spiderman because he embraced up front his powers, and his character issues focused more on the consequences of his actions than his resistance to super-ness.
OK, I'm guilty, too. I guess it's a reverse-psychology principle.

Just wait to see how Peter Parker handles life at the Daily Bugle when they spray for bugs.Scott Gardener wrote:Ever notice how many times blessings ARE portrayed as curses? Too funny, yeah, I'm not into these ceiling walking werewolf hybrids that must have mutated in the last 2 years, ha, ha!Scott Gardener wrote:Underworld, Van Helsing, and if I saw what I thought I saw on the trailer, now Cursed is doing it, too! Werewolves are all doing that eighties song!
