Whats with the mammoth-legs on those werewolves? Looks too cartoony, IMO. But you can allways try to reskin them, though.Shadow Wulf wrote:http://www.planetquake.com/polycount/sk ... wolf.shtml this looks good.
EDIT:
~Anubis~ well sense you all are beginners I say go with quake 2 sense it already has werewolf models. Ofcourse it would be nice to use the half life 2 engine sense the graphics can be updated over time unlike most engines.

cool, so i guess we're using the unreal engine.
P.S. DO NOT BUY THE SOFT WARE!! at lest not yet. i'm not sure if this is going to happen. let me get it first so you guys wont end up with buying expensive software for nothing. its going to take a while for me to get the money, so that give us some time to get things ready like planning the story, finding some one that can script, and what ever we need to do.

then just upgrade your graphics card.
On the UT 2004 minimum system requirements says Geforce 2, pentium3 1.0 GHz, and your 256 mb of ram should be enough to run the game fine. just dont put the graphics all the way high, If you get a geforce 4 which cost like $70 to $80 you can have the graphics even on medium and it will run good.

Okay, lets put it this way: I don't have any kind of money at all, except for 5 Euro to buy the game or so. I can't buy a new videocard with that. And since there aren't any werewolf-models available for UT2k4 I'll stick with Quake 2. Moddelingen is a lot of work so if we just work with Quake 2, all we gotta do is reskin the models shown in this topic. And level-design sucks with UT2k4 because the levels all look alike. Its all in a 'industrial'-style and I don't think thats gonna fit a werewolf-game at all.

It would be difficult to model outdoor environments in any engine,
But since I'll be covering the bulk of the modelling, You shouldn't really worry about crappy models.
Just tell me what I've got to make (with concept scetches if possible) and I'll go off an do it.

I want it to be modern or 10 years into the future. If its alright with everyone can I be the enemy character designer? I would like some of the enemies to be humans in gas mask suits.

but humans are like the coolest thing you can kill. Think about it. all the great action games you kill humans in. Relax thier not gonna be like the only enemies, they would be thier as a clean up crew like in Half Life.
Im just saying this as an example. Your in war with the vampires and both of your cover is blowned because you revealed yourself to humans, Government sends in army military death squad to deal with the situation. But thats not all they want to capture vampires and werewolf subjects to be used for thier own army, later in the game youll face werewolfs and vampires that are beibg controlled by humans.
