First MP3 of my band Innocence online

Post by Morkulv »

Hey.

Me and my band Innocence finally recorded our first song on MP3, and I would like to share it with all of you. :grinwiggle:

We make melodic doom/death/goth metal, but we since our grunter departed for our band, we had to do this recording instrumental.

Enjoy! :D

Not bad, not bad... Although the quality of the recording wasn't very good.

Keeping in mind that it is a raw recording that hasn't been subjected to studio mastering, it sounds pretty good. I don't care what they keep saying about the keyboards, though they could do for some polishing on a sound board. (Not that I actually know anything about such things, but I think that's what you do to make something sound more polished.)
Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...

I think the keyboard sounds too loud, and because of that, it sounds kinda 'cheap'. But the whole band agrees with that, and we intend to move it more to the background. :)

heres a thought, record all the instruments spreatly(first get a tech geek) and then sync them the way you would like to make it sound better

We don't have the money (nor the ability) for that.

Hmm... Count Fickhund came up with that name... I think it means something like "beware of the rabbits" or something. :P

I'll ask him. :D

Too bad not everyone can understand the (funny) Dutch lyrics to the songs.

Ok, I'll give it a try :P :

On a dark sunday night
The time was around 12 am
A dark evil sun in the sky disappears
Ignorant souls watch in fear to this sign
The winds are getting heavyier
Dark shadows appear from the woods

The Satans-children are born
With they'r ears steady in the air
They join together to reach the village
With the sounds of they'r screeches, the battle begins
Blood is flowing, everywere they go
Man, women, children, nobody is spared

Cuniculosus victrix semper!!!

:D
