Ahh, Koblenz! Isn't that far from here - well, in camparison to other packmembers ... and 'Bart' is simply 'beard'
Well, I thought you got the name from this movie ... but this is funny, too!

Hey Taril and Teenwolf! I'm not new but I'm not an old member either, but I'll say welcome anyway. I'm out to make some friends as well, and support Anthony on his project perhaps get some more Australian fans in the hope it will air here and bring more international exposure.
Beware those duckies. They don't like me much.

nother introduction
To start: Hi
I found this place because a friend tossed me the link a week or so ago. I'm horrible at coming up with good names so, RedHowl it is right now. In years past I've been,,,,,,,Timberwolf, Travels in Silence, Sinister Tofu just to name a few, still go by that last one in online games. Anyhow, my werewolf background.
Man, that goes back a looooong way. Always have been a fan of wolves and werewolves, got into Werewolf the Apocolypse years ago and have been drawing ever since. I used to RP it aswell but the group fell apart so I had ta stop. I do draw occasionally, usually anthro but some werewolf stuff too. I've always hated werewolves in movies though, they never looked right.
Oh and the backward knee thing, STU-PID. It's his HEEL not his KNEE for crying out loud.... okay, I won't rant about that.
Still, I'm completely excited to see someone finally doing a werewolf the RIGHT way! And that teaser looked great, especially for something you guys "threw together"
intro over---

Have a grand time !
Have a grand time !
The change, does it wrack the bones and rend the flesh ? Yes, indeed it does. But is this pain and agony alone ? No, in fact hardly at all. It is the Sacrament of the Moon. The flesh flows and so do the endorphins. It is, in truth, the agony ecstatic; The Pain That Is Pleasure
What a fantastic website! And idea for that matter. I stumbled across this last night/early this morning and figured I should get some sleep before posting.
Anyhoo, I've been into shifters (as I call them) for quite a long while, though recently I've discovered it's more the actual transformation that interests me vs. shifters. Despite that, wolfers (another pet name) are still my favorite critters and was thrilled that I found this site, though disappointed that I haven't found it sooner.
I've looked around some and I'm looking forward to reading more, and maybe even posting some (this is only the second forum I've ever joined). I do have a question, though. Did you guys ever pick an official name for shifters? Is it Freeborn, or just werewolves? Just curious...

New wolf
Well hello. I found this interesting forum through yet another forum. Im glad I did.
My name is Wolfsin and I am a writer of all sorts with wolves as my writing guide. I also like to draw. I can't wait to meet all of you and to start posting immidiatly. It took me a little longer to find the introduction page cause im so used to other forums having a separate intro board. But I'm glad that you guys have a lot of different subjects to choose from. :howl:
I also like the emoticon selection. Very cute.

Wolfsin
Me and a bunch of other pack members helped in making them.
I lost my exact count. But I know I helped make over 100 if them.
Oh...one more thing. Have some duckies.

I feel like a turd that I have been lurking here and even posted a time or two without actually posting here.
I am just another anthropomorphiphile (you like that? I just made it up...does it work?) Erg...nevermind
Oh yeah I like werewolves and actually have been interested ever since I saw the transformation scene from AWIL in a show or movie called "Terror in the Aisles." This was about 20 years ago and I can distinctly remember the feet stretching and the terror I felt. Later, I had to ask my parents about that movie after listening to Thriller a million times and the associated video (dork alert!!) Since then and the advent of cheap internet I have gathered many books and movies on the subject of werewolves and other shapeshifters. Much to my delight there is an entire culture living (liveing better now) in and amongst them (us) that take comfort knowing there are others like them (us) on the internet.
I am anxiously awaiting the release of this movie and honestly any other that portrays werewolves in positive OR negative lights. This fulfills some psychological need to belong I suppose. I hope to post here time and again and I hope to share and collect knowledge from all you fine wolves...err...people.

Long live The Pack!!
