World of warcraft

Post by Kzinistzerg »

This isn't a discussion about it, especially, but-

i am thinking about getting it this summer, when i'l lactually have time to play it. i've browsed the websotes for a while, seen the various options, blah, blah blh, everything you can do without actually getting the game.

before i even mention it to anyone i nmy family, is it worth it? do any of you have WoW, or have firends or siblings that do?

if you didn't know, WoW is a mmorpg set in the Warcraft universe.

so what do you think?

Some people hasn't been seen or heard from for days or weeks at a time because of that game. Once you start, you can't stop. Just letting you know. :D

I want it, but I'm too stingy to pay a subscription fee for a new addiction.

Sure, I understand why they charge a subscription fee, but in my mind I lose too much in the long term for it to be worth it. That's not to say I haven't been really, really tempted in some cases.

:o WoW is awesome. I myself play so does alot of my friends. It does consume your life quite a bit. But if you know that you can stop if you need to it shouldn't be too bad. Blizzard made a good game here much better than Star Wars Galaxies that i recently quit because sony screwed it up. But that is another story. Get Wow its a good game. If you know that you will be able to quit if you need too.

i know it/s an awesome game.. that's why i've been wanting it fro a while. of course, the two problems are: how addictive is it? like reall? or, somewhat? and the 50 bucks up front and 13-15 month- do youthink its too much? worth it? probably to little?

I think its worth it. Especially if you join a guild. Hanging out with people from around the world is lots of fun. I know i still keep in touch with some of my guildies from galaxies. The money isn't too bad. if i were you sometimes they do promotional things online see if you can upload it for free for ten days try it out. I know they did it for my other game not sure if they have done it for this one yet.

You have "Darth_Canis8" on your button. You just typed "DarthCanis8" in your post. Maybe thats the reason why its not working.

Mmm...I'm saving my money for Spore. As fun as I'm sure Warcraft is, it's been around too long. Therefore, there's no chance that I'll ever be one of the most well-known, highest level players. But if I invest in a game shortly after it comes out, I still have that chance. Granted, I don't know if you'll be able to interact with other players directly or not, but that's ok. It still looks fun.

Well...is 60 the highest level one can attain? If not, then there are probably people with levels in the thousands, and I'd still be far below some of the older players.
