Another omen?

Post by Terastas »

Remember how Anthony's b-day was also the night of a full moon and we took it to be a good omen? Well... Normally I don't announce this sort of thing, but...

Well, today, the 25th, is Good Friday. The 27th is Easter Sunday...

The 26th is my birthday... The magical 21st to be precise...
*looks out the window* And is that a full moon?!! ??

So uh... Geez guys, helluva' coincidence, isn't it? So what's your opinion? Is my luck good, or dumb? Image

Hah...what's even cooler is that here the moon was reddish-orange when I last looked at it tonight.

Oh before I forget, 'cuz I will forget, happy early birthday.

It's also funny that my er... Hey wait, I'm not shy. I'll just say it. That my time of the month falls on the full moon also. Oh and that dream I had.

Monday the 28th here. The moon will still be full. Wish I could see it, as it will be obscured by snow XP

Gah... I had a really good comment ready about having "that time of the month" and having "that other time of the month" at the same time, but as soon as I went to reply, I forgot what it was I was gonna say! Grarh.

I'm not that lucky. No big days for me happen on a full moon...

...I just get really itchy.

of course, with my b-day, you get a choice of full moon haloween or full moon b-day.

(My b-day is exactly three weeks from haloween.

Heh. Actually, I think this year I got the most interesting birthday gift ever.
Jury dudy. :howl: :oo

This is my first summons, so I can put it off for as late as June of next year, but... Geez, of all the days to put it in the mail! Kind of reminds me of that scene from The Grinch:
"And for the rest of you... Jury dudy, jury dudy, pink slip, pink slip (etc.)!"
*ads that to his list of stand-up material*

Jury dudy? Ummm...wait, you meant to spell it that way, right? (Jury duty)

I had to pull jury duty a couple of times. Lucky for me, I wasn't picked!!! It works if you know what to say to make everyone crack up during jury selection!! :D

Heh. Maybe subconsciously I did.

*nod-nods* Yeah, I figured I could just get off of mine by feigning familiarity with the defendant. Not necessarilly by yelling out some kind of "hey remember me from [whereever]" blurb -- just by smiling and waving at him or something.

Pretending to be sick or stupid sometimes doesn't work with these judges. You also need to be carefull on what you say. You could land yourself in jail.

I was very close to being picked on my 1st jury duty selection. It was about an undercover female police officer at a bar. She arrested a man for hitting up on her. The guy said he wasn't "hitting" on her.

After hearing that, they asked us what we thought about it. When it was my turn, I said, "Thats the reason why I'm still single!! There is no telling if the woman is a cop or a drag queen!!"

Heh, that was my ticket out of there!! :D
