But, you're now stuck in Detroit, trying to convince a saturated record industry that cares little for talent and plenty for who knows who on the inside, and as far as they're concerned, you're yet another jobless, angry nobody desperate for attention.

Granted! Your living room is now a holodeck. In case you haven't seen a billion Star Trek episodes where that went horribly wrong, or read Ray Bradbury... There's a slight glitch, and a simulated character demands to be made real, summons into being a bunch of giant predatory cats, and they eat you.

Anubis:

Granted! In case you've never watched a billion Anime or the Transformers... You have a giant robot, and it's good timing. Because, an alien invasion happens, and your giant robot is Earth's only hope. You pilot the thing, but get killed early on in the battle. Your descendant, who has big eyes and really wavy hair, avenges your memory a century later and frees humanity from a hundred year reign of terror, when he discovers the robot in a secret hiding chamber and reawakens it with a lot of fanfare and special effects involving blurred backgrounds.

Granted. You can now see 2.5 seconds into the future. . . Which does help you win at RPS, but isn't enough time to avoid getting hit by that school bus.

I wish you could buy and sell things instantly just like in The Sims instead of mucking around with all this flea market / e-bay bullcrap.

Granted. But when gas prices go through the roof and everyone finally starts switching over to clean energy, your company is too far deep in the hole to afford the upgrades. That's what you get for investing with Kenneth Lay.

I wish American Idol would abolish Country Week next season (they have their own American Idol rip-off called Nashville Star exclusive to Country anyway, so who cares, right?).
