Steven Colbert vs Bush Round 1
This is by far one of the funniest things I have ever seen. http://video.freevideoblog.com/video/wm ... 83E27F.htm

It's a satire. Colbert endorses a liberal stance by portraying a mock-conservative. Kind of like Jonathan Swift's essay in 1729, entitled "A Modest Proposal," in which he "advocates" solving Ireland's hunger problems by eating babies. Scary thing is, a lot of people back then didn't realize he was being sarcastic and actually backed his idea.
Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...

The same way everyone at the Bush party all seemed to just smile and listen to what Colbert had to say. . . Which I hope they were doing out of politeness, because of Colbert is really that accurate in his parody, we have a lot to be afraid about.Scott Gardener wrote:Scary thing is, a lot of people back then didn't realize he was being sarcastic and actually backed his idea.
