Glad to know that Al Gore hasn't dropped off the face of the Earth. Where've you been?!?
Then again, his main platform has generally been environmental protection. He's urging us to realize it's not falling off the face of the Earth that's the issue so much as the face of the Earth falling off us.
Great title, too. And, I appreciate his decribing it as a "moral" issue. Ordinarily, I resent the overuse of the "moral" label for anything, but, in this case, it's a smack in the face of those who claim to tout morals while causing the perpetuation of this problem.

Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...

I give the main reason for this corrupt political powers, and most to blame big business!!!! They are too concerned about the green in their pockets than green that REALLY matters. they need to pull their heads out of their buts.

Hence the name of the movie. It's a truth that the big businesses, especially the oil industries, are trying to deny because acknowledging it as truth would be bad for business. It's the truth, but a corporation's only loyalty is to its shareholders.Anubis wrote:I give the main reason for this corrupt political powers, and most to blame big business!!!! I've seen this trailer before, and I think I'm going to see this movie when it comes out. I've always been a fan of protecting the environment.
I agree with Scott, the title of this movie is great. Also, I'm glad that (well, at least as far as I can tell from the previews) he's not touting the destruction of the environment as all the fault of the Republican party...something which, despite not being true, is something that far too many liberal leaders do. While the Republican party doesn't have the environment as high on its priority list as the Democrats do...that doesn't change the fact that liberals probably throw out just as much trash as conservatives do, and huge factories run by liberals give off just as much smoke and air pollution as those run by conservatives. So, I'm at least glad that he's not attacking other political parties. It is indeed a moral issue more than a political one.
