The "official" one. Do whatever with my other topic.
This is for everybody though. Say what you think of any member of these forums. Try not to be too mean. I may have to go all Pai Mei on you otherwise.

Some are obsessed, some are creative, some are energetic, some are talkitive, some are loners, most of everyone SCARES ME HALF TO DEATH! That's what makes this group so appealing to me.
That and the sense of pride/ patriotism towards supporting each other, and the Pack as a whole.
This whole "furry" thing? I like the art and concepts, but just can't seem to get into the culture of it all. I guess I'll always be a tad out of place here, but every group needs the otherworldly oddball right?

Kaebora- we're not all furries. Quite a few of us are, but not all. We just all share a common interest in were-things in one way or another. You fit in just fine.
In response to the OP- I agree with Joker. We have such a great deal of pack loyalty that we do end up functioning like one great big giant family. I have to say that after meeting several packmates at A-kon I wish that we could hang out more often. Everyone was just so kind, accepting, and fun-loving that after just a couple days together I consider them close friends.

I also have to agree about that sense of family. We've gotten to know each other quite a bit, even though many of us have never seen each other live in person at all. I've enjoyed meeting many of you at the last A-Kon and some of you the one before.
Still, many of you I only know through your online persona and your choice of avatar pictures. Perhaps this is none-the-less an example of the families of the future. As the technology gets easier, we'll get to see each other's faces in video more. Someone hurry up and invent a video version of VOIP!

Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...

I also agree with the artist formerly known as Sabre. Heh, it's funny, you guys have felt like more of a family in the one year that I've been here, than my real Family has in my entire life (my real family is too... strange to feel like a family )!

I rather think that 'rundi is my better side anyway. ^_^
Oh bah, whatever.
I don't think anybody is ugly. We all just are who we are. I know I'm not much to look at, but I finally decided that I wasn't going to worry about what I couldn't change anymore. I'm sure you're just fine.
Believe it or not, yes. It's kinda sad, really.PariahPoet wrote:Your family is stranger than us!?Darum wrote:I also agree with the artist formerly known as Sabre. Constant suprise and unexpected responses are out of the ordinary compaired to other forums I've posted in. This has to be the most interesting bunch of people. I could get glomped just by saying something silly. And you dont even KNOW how many people bit me when I first joined. What to say...what to say...
I think I'll just echo others on some points; I feel a sense of family with members of The Pack (well, aside from the ones I know jack-squat about ), this is a rather...um, interesting group of people, so its' worth logging on just to see where that's led things recently...
