Oh wow so lucky!! Have you every seen any wolves running around up there as well? I live in a city and I am surrounded by nasty neighbors and house after house, no forest or woods by me and if the ones that were somewhat a patch of woods are quickly getting destoryed We need more Conservancy efforts!!!MattSullivan wrote:I live in Colorado Springs Colorado currently. And yeah, my backyard is a small patch of forest.

I live in 200 acres snuggly nestled in the middle of nowhere. Forests and fields all around. It's really cool, because I can walk outside, turn around in a circle, and know that everything I see in every direction belongs to me (or my family, at least). We hear coyotes howl at night and we often see deer on the edges of our fields. It's nice.
When I'm at school, I live in an apartment overlooking a really pretty courtyard, and beyond that is a big bayou. The sunset shining on it in the evening is a really sight to see.

I hate you, you know that, I get jealous of people with lots of acres, I have an acre and half but I just taking out the trash and cutting the grass thats almost half the size of a football field.Renorei wrote:I live in 200 acres snuggly nestled in the middle of nowhere. I was joking when I said I hate you by the way.

Last year I had a black bear snatch a pig skull out of a cleaning pit (I was cleaning the bones for bleaching and anatomy stuff).
We have a 180 acre farm were on here. Last year we had a mama bear and her cubs run through. We've also got 40 acres up in the woods for a hunting camp - lots of bears - in fact, my hunting camp is on a road entitled the 'Beartown Road' because of it's notorious trafficers (but don't worry, it's a narrow dirt road six miles back into the boondocks and the bears are left very politely alone).
They're pretty cool critters - so long as you've never had the very intimidating meeting with one at a berry bush - or in this case your backyard, heh.
Very cool you got pictures, though. Very cool.
