Skype is a free telephone like program for your computer, you can call people who have skype for free and all you need is good internet and a microphone, you can also call normal phones for a small fee.

Interesting. I do not have a microphone myself and I have never heard of such a thing. What advantages does it have over a normal telephone?

free if you call people who have it, its also free till the end of 2006 in US and canada to call normal phones

Oh I see.

No buying a plan for your cell phone. Or no long distance charges. I supose it is a good place to talk to online friends. Do you use it often? I would imagine the reception might not be great.

i have been using it for just today, reception is not bad, delayed but its ok
