Looks like it's definitely matching the flavor of the game; so much of the trailer was filmed in first-person shooter mode. The chainsaw and weird-looking monster thingy scene looks very Doom-ish.

Now, when's Quake coming out?

Kinda strange with the FPS-like parts but I'm definately going to see it.

I meant the way the movie is portrayed. Space marines coming in to blast away the bad guys.

dude you are missing out on the experiance, of going to the theature getting your self a big bucket of pop corn, and sitting in the dark in front of a really big screen about the size of the semi you drive. and also you get to miss out of movie talk. but that you and i'll reaspect that.

Ill only see it after everybody have seen it and tell me its a really good movie, otherwise Ill make like a Figarou and wait.

I saw it last night and I enjoyed it. It wasn't as good as the game and there were a few cheesey parts but it was still a good movie overall.

IT'S FREAKEN AWESOME!!! a work of art i say so my self. even though they deviated from the devil and hell thing and towards the mutant genetics. its still pretty awesome!!! i really recommend seeing this movie

Why do movies always change the game, I swear almost all hollywood directors are one of the biggest dumb asses of all times.

its not thier fault is a pussy of a relgious group says that they should remove the demons and hell stuff. gave the producers hell had them change the script.

Hollywood has nothing but hypoctrytes, the only sensible people I know of is John Carpenter, Steven Spilberge, Anthony Brownrigg, Tim Albey and other directors that made remarkable movies.

Ok, this is going to sound a little girly to all you guys out there so how scary was it.... was it jump out scary or makes you think creepy i would rather deal with things jumping out rather then that crap that makes you think and you get all freaked out anyway.... *girliness over*

translation: was it as scary as playing the game?

For the record - movie talk sucks and anyone talking loud enough to be heard in the theatre should be shot.

Anywho, it looks good, esspecially the tralor bit with the CHAINSAW.

I wanna see it.
