Hmm, that must mean there was a template I didn't edit. I'll go look for that later today.

Good for your college people, then, for being so openminded!

That's nice to hear. Just make sure they don't all leave thinking furs are just sexual dirty weirdos.

Hehe don't worry, I have gotten pretty good at making sure I know what leaves my snout beforepaw. Most of the time it's never brought up, but when it is, I tell them the truth "very VERY few furs like to yiff in fursuits, and I am not one of them". Also, I will be conducting an educational night sometime here soon, dedicated to furries, and anyone on campus or in the dorms can come and listen in to the truth about them. That is, for those in my college

Therianthropy and the furry movement are both long stories, best not shared with random strangers unfamiliar with either concept. You're better off talking about it only with people who already know you pretty well--and thus will be less prone to being judgmental, given the unorthodoxy of either identity concept. Of course, you can talk about it with other therians and furries, who already know what it entails, as well as those who are already affiliated with those of us into one or the other.

We had carefully considered this. However, that horriffic CSI episode reached millions of people, and gave them that impression ( and yes I have been asked about that episode numerous times), and feel that if they can spread that crap around, then we can at least fix a little bit of it. I'm not out to save the world or anything, but every single fur I talked to (and there are many) agreed that it would be a good idea. Sure I have recieved a little crap from frat boys ( "you got something coming out of your a**") to which I replied "thanks". They didn't quite know how to handle that, and kept walking. Those who come to this will be the kind of people that either want to know about furry, or know about it and want to meet other furs. I have thought this out carefully. It most likely wont take more than about ten to twenty minutes, and the rest would be questions. I am not going to spill out absolutely everything on the spot. If asked, I will answer honestly, but otherwise, I will be letting the sleeping wolf lie on a few things.
