I don't really have one favorite (right now) but I love some of Type O Negative's stuff like Black No. 1, Set me on Fire, or Todd's Ship Gods. There's some other songs that I really love too :D

I also love a lot of Seven Nations' stuff. My favs from them are the original version of Scream with Niel Anderson, Men of Argyll, No Reason, their cover of Under the Milkyway Tonight, The Factory Song, Faithful Departed, and Twelve. They have so many good songs! :)

I'd die if I didn't have music and playing music and musical instruments really helps me unwind and relax (like with most people  )

I just thought of another I like to listen to over and over: Raymond Scott's Powerhouse. You've probably heard part of it if you've seen any Looney Tunes cartoons involving heavy machinery.

anything by TigerRoar

and the Wicked soundtrack

(TigerRoar is an acapella band from South Carolina. At first I didn't like them, but now I listen to their CD all the time.)

Hey, that's cool. The song's not bad either. I wasn't able to catch a lot of the words, but I'll google it and then watch again, but I think I'm going to be singing that song for a while so it belongs on my list of current favroites

Edit: I am now a Pack Member! (20 posts) Awesome!. I seem to be posting on here more than I ever have anywhere else. My old record was 30 and that took over a year. :)

Ever rotating playlists, but over time my favorites have been:

In the late 80s, during my heavy metal period:
Whitesnake
Def Leppard
Dokken
KISS
Scorpions

In the early 90s, when my tastes started shifting:
Queensryche
Dio
Led Zeppelin
The Cult
Bauhaus
U2

In the late 90s, during my Goth period:
The Sisters of Mercy
Type O Negative
the various Cleopatra Goth compilations

In the 2000s, during my experimental and techo period:
Abney Park (mp3.com veteran)
Blue Man Group
Underworld

Lately: I've been listening to a lot of The Cure over the past year and a half.

Others worth mentioning:
Sting and The Police
Robert Plant outside of Led Zeppelin
Pink Floyd--oddly enough, mainly their newer material, from Momentary Lapse of Reason onward
Yoko Kanno (yes, I have to mention this one, too. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Macross Plus soundtracks in particular)
Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...
