Anyone else think modern technology is a bit weird in how it swaps function? Never mind that cell phones have clocks, cameras, and music players. They've now put out kitchen appliances that have TVs built in.
It won't be long before we find ourselves having conversations like this:
"What time is it?"
"The coffee pot says it's after two. Anything good on the fridge?"
"I'll check the phone."
Anything good on the fridge?

Anything good on the fridge?
Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...

Remember the cereal box in Minority Report?Black Shuck wrote:That's just crazy man. Imagine when we can coffee cups with TV screens in them
The only scenario where I could picture a fridge with a TV being a halfway decent idea is in some tiny-a** half-a-studio apartment like the one Bruce Willis lived in in The Fifth Element, and while I do agree that it'd be nice to build up instead of outward to preserve what little wildlands we have left, I don't think we're that cramped just yet.
