wrong forum, dude. This is not a roleplay forum, nor is it full of people who seriously claim to be werewolves. read around a bit before posting further.

Indeed...if you came here hoping to find this to be the the official virtual meeting place of the Werewolves of the world (or "lycans"...though I'm pretty sure that perticular abbreviation of "lycanthrope" is trademarked, and so we avoid it on the most part) I'm afraid you will be terribly dissapointed.

"...Yarr....thar be no REEEL Waarwuulvs Heereee......" :pirate:

However...this is one of the largest (and in my opinion, the BEST) gathering places of Werewolf "FANS", and a great place to talk about and share your love for all things "Were..." and "...Wolfy", in art, media and literature.

You can also expect to find a fair number of Wolf Therians around here, as well as a whole lot of people who wish they Could be a Real Werewolf. (...which would be almost everyone here...with a few exeptions)

Please...take Timber-WoIf's advice and browse the forums for a while to see if this is a place you'd like to hang out. We welcome new pack members with open arms ... er, paws ... eh ... whatever.

...that and a shower of yellow duckies. (Don't forget your umbrella...or at least a healthy appetite.)

...Heads Up!... :ducktoss3: ...too late...

(Note: If it is your desire to roleplay here as a werewolf, we have a "Roleplay" section set aside for that. Otherwise, going about claiming to be a real Werewolf, or making any other obviously nonsensical claims is generally not appreciated around here. Have fun, and be silly...we all do...but leave the BS somewhere else.)

That said... :welcome: "Lycan_Alpha"

...I hope you enjoy your stay. Image
...assuming you DO stick around for a while, that is...

you may want to search out a LARP forum, vampire: the masquerade, althoug meant for mainly vampires has werewolf players too who join packs and what-not, maybe that should be your first try

other then that you can search for people that do LARP in your town wether it is big or small, but big works best since there are more people.

if your talking about the real deal then sorry, its all fiction so far and we have not proven anything as of yet, and I do not think they will for a while

They can... In the Roleplaying Form. That's what it's there for.

Edit: That sounded (read actually) a little meaner than I meant it to. Sorry about that. The whole "I'm a werewolf" thing kinda gets on my nerves though. Like I'm being mocked or something.

One unavoidable problem with that is, when someone goes about claiming to be a REAL werewolf, then they act like their opinions are more important than anyone elses, because they (supposedly) KNOW exactly how a Werewolf is.

That get's old Really fast. ...when they will bluntly tell you that your opinion is wrong, because they are "real werewolves" and so things are exactly the way they say they are, because that is what happens when they shift, etc, etc.

No one here would appreciate that kind of behavior. I know I wouldn't.

ok, just so you know, nobody here really knows that. if we did, we'd have some REALLY great potential actors for this film.
this forum is created for the director and filmmakers of "freeborn" to be able to find out what the general consensus of werewolf fans feel werewolves should be/look/act/whatever, not a forum based on finding out how to shift. if you really want to know that stuff and form a pack or whatever, go to http://www.werewolf.com . you'll find other shifters who can help you with this sort of stuff.
to reiterate: WE are the fan club, NOT the werewolves.

i'm just stating what i know and what i think, if you don't like it, you can leave me alone.

5- Just Bitten
10- Can't remember
20- Pack Member
30- Pack leader
50- Legendary

and i am not entirely sure how to join a clan
or how to start one for that matter

Clan? Isn't that a vampire thing? Werewolves have "packs."

Hey, that's a really good way to describe it. The movie was fine, it just wasn't like the book at all.
