it is said that each letter of our name coorosponds to a number, and, added up and simplified, then can tell us about ourselves. .

now, it is said you break down your name to ifnd out things about yourself. .

1. to find out your motive and ideals (how you are on the inside)
a. write down all the vowels in your full name
b. convert each to it's corresponding number
add them up (breaking them down into single didgets like this 1+9+4=14 . . 1+4= final answer of 5. . do this for all numbers except for 11 and 22, as they have special meanings)

2. to find out your personalilty and appearance (outer being, how you are seen)
a. write down all the consanants in the name
b. convert to number (as done above) and then add untill they are a single didget or 11 or 22, as done above

3. your life path
a. add together the number values obtained for both the vowels and constanants in your name.
b. reduce

the numbers are said to mean:

1-independance, self reliance, forcefulness
2-relaxed unselfish, harmonious, psychic, diplomatic
3-free, a seaker, adventurous, charming, spiritual
4-stable, loyal, honest, material
5-adventurous, courageious, imagination
6-idealistic, selfless, domestic
7-mystical, psychic, isolation, misunderstood
8-reason, practical, businesslike, controlling
9-intelligent, understanding, artistic, sympathetic

11-number of super intellect or genious, lucky person, has an important inner vision
22-the master, very powerful, maybe result in outstandng ascedancy or disastrous downfalls in life. .

(this is just a short explaination. . you can find more details about the numbers on websites or good books )

I don't like the idea of adding up numbers just to find out who I am or what my feelings are.

the 10 would be 1 and the 12 would be 3

basicly if you get a number that is not a single digit(or 11 or 22) then you add the two numbers, like for one of mine i got 21, so I went 2+1

its sorta odd at first but people will get it

I did it with my birthday and got 11. I think birthdays are a lot more worthwhile because entering the world on a special day ... well a name is far more random.

Needless to say I don't believe in any of this, or horoscopes.

The last one amuses me.

well, in the last one it does say spiritual, and I have viewed you as being sort of spiritual (you must also remember that the last one applies diffrent parts of your life, so you may be adventurous at one time then go from that to charming)

When I got 11 (For my birthdate) it suited me almost 100%.

I am curious, intelligent (Not in a boasting way, since I know way too many brainiacs and Im always seemingly zoned out and daydreaming plus Im lazy...even though Im in the gifted category in my country. How weird is that), I'm eccentric, humanitarian, I daydream a lot, and have nervous energy, there was a lot more but I forgot. Oh yeah least likely to be the leader, that's true, but a total individual, I'm an ideas person (Anyone seen The Castle? "Steve's an Ideas Man!!" haha), I can't always distinguish dream from reality (I have memories where Im unsure if it happened or if it was a dream...and I live in my daydreams too much).

I still don't really believe, since some people I did got stuff they don't suit, whereas others got stuff they suit very well. I also suited traits from many other numbers, but 11 was the most.
