Re: Star Wars Werewolf
Its not a werewolf. Meaning he doesn't have the ability to "shift."
The proper title is Star Wars The Shistavanen Wolfman

...or the Jedi Wolf from the SW:Clone Wars Cartoon Series, Voolvif Monn?

...Oh, the link suddenly works now. Ahh, Cantina Wolf-Man it is.
You're right Fig... it's not techinically a werewolf if he does not shift, but it's still pretty cool.

Shistavanen made sporadic appreances in the Star War's E.U. as well (EU = stuff outside of the movies).
There were two in books, if i rember. that one, Lak Sivrak. And another, his Cousin, or something, Rav. Related somehow. Lak was featured in "Tales of the Mos Eisley Cantina", the other, Rav, in some of the rogue squadron books. I think. Never read them. He was in some Fighter Squadron.
I think.
Oddly, BOTH died as a result of starfighter crashes....
Voolvif Monn appeared in the Star Wars Clone wars mini-series for one episode.
Luckily, he didn't go and die in a starfighter, like other two.
Obviously, it takes being aJedi to not die in a starfighter crash.

Heh, I thought the same thing when I first saw it waaay back - methinks they decided to use some cheaper costumes back then - and wolfman masks would have been relatively prevalent around costume stores or resued props, yet be "alien" enough in appearance (as in strange, not extra-terrestrial) to warrent throwing into a background scene.
But as the fandom grew and explained all the background figures and races, it developed into its own "race"

The Shistavanen in the X-Wing Rogue Squadron books is Riv Shiel. He was a pilot for Rogue Squadron. He died in the fourth book.....although the exact part where the author Michael Stackpole writes about his death...god, it's so fricken hard to find! You hear about that he died in the beginning of one chapter, but I still haven't found the exact moment. Heck, I didn't even know that he died in a starfighter crash without looking it up in TheForce.net's encyclopedia thing. (Of course, that may also be due to the fact that I haven't completely read through the specific Rogue Squadron book where Riv dies for at least a year...)
The author never wrote Riv that well in my opinion. He was a miniscule footnote really...at least compared to his wingman Gavin Darklighter. *sigh*

Did someone call me lol? But seriously i love it when my two favorite things mesh. Hence my name i mean can you imagine what a dark jedi werewolf could do muhahaha basically that is the idea behind my name.
The little girl who always wanted to fly an x wing and be raised by wolves... Come to think of it she still does.
Given what that wolfman looks like, I'd guess they took a mask out of storage, leftover from a horror movie. It just looks too much like an old-style werewolf.
Heh. Maybe lycanthropy isn't a curse from the moon at all, or genetic fooling around. Maybe it's a leftover trait from human-whateverthatis crossbreeding Long Long Ago and In A Galaxy Far Far Away?

I have no idea what you are talking about. You want the code number for a suggested color? I don't even know how or where to find the HEX#. I just go to the color pallate grid, or the color creator in the programs I use and select a darker shade of blue. It sounds unnecesarily complicated to have to select colors by the code number. I'm confused.Figarou wrote:can you give me an idea on what color?Vuldari wrote:The cloak should be darker if it is supposed to be a Sith Werewolf.Figarou wrote:It had to be done!!!

Oh, I thought you would know. I'll try a darker color, but it can't be black.Vuldari wrote:I have no idea what you are talking about. You want the code number for a suggested color? I do half of my digital editing in MS paint. I know nothing about how cool editing programs work. I know how to cut, paste and scribble colors. That's about it. That's how I made my avatar...cut out peice of wolf face, paste on to my face, scriblle on the edges untill they blend together...repeat...Figarou wrote:Oh, I thought you would know. I do know that if you want the cloak to be black without becoming transparent, (or whatever your reason is), all you need to do is select a shade of black/dark grey that is a microshade brighter than pure black. Human eyes can't tell the diferance, but the computer can.
