Why is that. Personally, I feel that it is quite close too the Nintendo games in terms of characters and environments, except for Laikutu maybe.

Doesn't sound like a bad idea for a Mario game. I do hope they put at least a BIT of effort in it if they're developing it though.

I personally would like to see a less bright and cuddly Mario Bros. Revamping Mario could what the franchise meeds. It's actually kind of refreshing

The concept sounds interesting, but like serif said that it sounds too much like the movie. How ever if they do it right it may be a hit or some what decent.

But i doubt that Nintendo would do such a thing to their must beloved Italian plumber, and if they do finish it as a thrid party developer Nintendo would sue their asses.

But it is damn hard to make a pudgy red and blue wearing plumber into a M rated game. Unless princess peach is a total welll
