Thanksgiving Day! (2007)
Happy National Turkey Day everyone!
How will you spend your Thanksgiving?
I'm going to be spending all day catching up on my college homework, watching the game, and eating turkey when it's ready.
Hardly exciting, but cant be helped when most of my family is 800 miles away.

I'm scheduled to work on Thanksgiving. And Xmas and New Years.
Its real convenient that those "convenient stores" are open year round. (7-11, Circle K, Exxon TigerMarket/Mart, ETC.) So nice to get milk, gas, and what not on a holiday. But it sucks having to work for a company that delivers gas to them.
I know I'm not the only one who has to work so that others can fill up thier fuel tank. But by golly....why can't everyone stay home and not drive anywhere? That way I can enjoy some time off on a holiday!!
I need to see about working at a bank. That way I KNOW I'll be off on a holiday. ANY holiday.

Do you have any holidays off?
Bank hours are great for workers, one here is open eight thirty to fifty thirty, hour lunch break, closed on weekends and six Mondays a year and of course all holidays.
Only if it falls on my regular day off.
Oh well....at least I get "double time" for working on a holiday.

Poor Fig
My work is open every single day too....(who the hell wants to spend their major holiday renting movies? Go be with your family/friends people!:P ) Thankfully, I'm not working tommorow.
I'll wake up, and watch the parade on tv. Then we go to my dad's side of the family and eat. And in the evening, we go back home (where my mom's family will already be at.)

Fig, join the Army.
I'll be away from family this thanksgiving (hell, I haven't been home for this holiday since 1998... whee). But, I'll be at my platoon sergeants house tomorrow. Until then, I'll keep playing this LITTLE ADDICTIVE GAME I came across:

I will spend my Thanksgiving at home most likely. I have to work Friday and my family is 3 hours away, so there's just no way I can go see them. I may go with my mate to his family's thing, but I'll likely just spend my precious bit of free time catching up on sleep and working on FURSUIT(that's for Matt's benefit) commissions.

I know you meant...."join the crowd." But I DO know what its like to be away from family when serving the armed forces.
