Is anyone currently in home school or had home school in their past?
Did you prefer it over public school?
Did you have social groups?
How many hours per day did you have to learn?
Resources appear better now then in the early mid nineties, finished high school almost ten years ago now, since that time it has become far more common.
Were you home schooled?

you all may have heard this from many others, but i assure you that you never had teachers that wanted to embaress you every chance they could. i was lucky to even have a teacher that wanted to hear what i had to say, and even then it did help because they just stuck me in special ed just so they wouldn't have to teach me. it has been that way all the way to high school. that in my appinion was hell.

I was lucky: I went to Public school when there was money, space, and teachers capable of teaching-all the way from first grade through graduation.
It was in College that I ran into teachers who didn't care about their students, where classes were HUGE, and there was always a fight for budget dollars.
Oddly enough, in the Army, it was caring and effective teachers again; even if the subjects were...well...violent in nature.
I guess I was lucky. I gots me a good ejukashun and I useded it!
