Temper problems
Recently I have done something really bad on a chat. I kind of exploded at someone and swore at them a lot over something trivial thing. I have been trying but no matter how hard I try I keep blowing up. I hate it, I snap at people and swear and them. Its like my temper is kneejerk. It happens so fast and I really hate it. It ruins friendship with people and its kind of scary. Please, tell me what I need to do about this.
"Religion and politics
Often make some people
Lose all perspective and
Give way to ranting and raving and
Carrying on like emotional children.
They either refuse to discuss it with reason,
Or else they prefer argumentum ad hominem,
Which is a hell of a way to conduct a discussion."

Re: Temper problems
Been there. I'm strongly going to reccommend therapy and/or anger management classes (private).

Re: Temper problems
Trust them. It works.
In the meantime, see if you can make a list of what ticks you off so much. There may be a connection between triggers.
And, curiously; have there been any major changes in your life recently?
Think back: was there a sort of "Start Date" for these things?
I still recommend anger management therapy like everybody else; but the more you can bring, the better the repairs can be, and the faster they can happen.

Re: Temper problems
So, you're angry that you're angry..and that makes you angry? I've had a couple days like that.
All work and no rage makes Jack a dull boy.
Letting go usually helps me, just disconnect and stop letting it bother me.
