There's still a lot of pieces being picked up around here, too, in the Beaumont / Port Arthur area. (I'm at work. I commute there from the Houston area, where I live at home.) I still see a lot of wreckage, even though the power lines are mostly back up; a lot of damaged trees, fences are gone, and a lot of houses have temporary plastic wrappers and patches as they await new roofs.

Glad you're back with power and back online, AlphaOokami.

Awww poor you :( . I feel bad for you having to go through all that. Im glad you have your power back on. Mabey this will remind you to not to take electricity for granted. :D

Ouch. If I lived in an area that had the risk of losing power like that, I would invest in a good generator. And even more batteries for my UPS.
